Deanna Figgins is a licensed massage therapist and bodyworker. She graduated from Body Therapy Institute in 2008. Believing that learning and enhancing her massage therapy skills is an ongoing, lifelong process, Deanna has completed more than 200 hours of specialized training including Active Myofascial Therapy (AMT)(™), Massage Cupping, Integrative Reflexology(™), pregnancy massage, orthopedic injury assessment. She is a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP) and an accredited member of the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
As a certified Pilate’s practitioner (2001) with a focus on rehabilitation, Deanna has worked one-on-one with clients to help them manage pain or chronic illness, recover from injury, increase mobility, strength and flexibility and restore overall functionality to their everyday lives.
Leisure time is spent with family--husband Dan, as well as her 5 grown children and 8 grandchildren. Deanna also enjoys spending time with friends, performing as a lyric soprano soloist, reading, traveling, exploring spirituality, cooking, going to movies and theatre productions.
